Vadodara: The Gujarat High Court has issued a notification to the University of MS and Professor Vice-Chancellor (VC) Parimal Vyas in connection with a petition submitted by a teacher for the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS).
HC has issued a notification in connection with the Special Civil Application submitted by Dr.
Sunita Sharma, who currently serves as Associate Professor at FMS.
Sharma has submitted a request in HC enhancing complaints which even though he qualifies to consider the promotion under the career progress scheme (CAS), but the case is not considered.
Nikhil justice has issued Oral Orde asking universities and VC to submit their reply on December 8 on the petition, Sharma, a professor of Associate since 1995, has stated that he is waiting for promotion as a professor under the CAS which is due since 2010.
He has been Claiming that even though he is an Arosormost teacher at FMS, Professor Magan Parmar, who is a professor of the Faculty of Social Work, has been appointed as officers about special tasks (Dean) at FMS.
In 2019, Sharma had submitted a request for a professor in the open category but he was declared not fulfilling the requirements by university officials.
Sharma even claimed that in 1995, when he was chosen for the position of lecturers, Vyas was rejected for the post.
But in 2012, Vyas was appointed as a double professor at FMS.
He alleged that because Vyas wanted to be a professor and head at FMS after his term when MSU VC ended, he was rejected by the promotion.
