New Delhi: Indian Water Disinvestment Process Cleanses the First Legal Challenge When Delhi HC was dismissed on Thursday by Politia BJP Subramanian Swamy who challenged the move.
A bench consisting of the chairman of Judge D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh said that the application claimed that the national operator’s assessment was “arbitrary” and “cheating” had no achievement.
“This is a policy decision by the center, which is taken after the deliberation, and is not open to a judicial review by HC, especially with the absence of illegality or arbitrariness established by the applicant,” the bench was observed.
It also sees services in mind by tatas that it is a “very late challenge”, especially when the process starts in 2017.
