Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Thursday directed the state government to take immediate steps to prevent public meetings during Christmas, New Year and Sankti remember the threat from the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

The bench also directed the state to strictly follow the instructions given by the UNI Ministry of Health on December 21 to capture the spread of Omicron.
“We direct the country to comply with the guidelines.
Place the compliance report in front of us on January 4,” Bench said.

“We respect the direction of the High Court,” he said.
