Patna: The State Cabinet on Tuesday approved the government proposal to spend RS 6,016 Crore to strengthen health infrastructure in Bihar.
The money to be provided by the center of the country’s part of the recommendation of the 15th Finance Commission must be used for five fiscal years from 2021-22 to 2025-26.
The Cabinet approved 13 Pancayati Raj proposals, urban development, building construction and other departments at the meeting held in Valmyanago in the West Champaran district, around 300 km from Patna.
The meeting was led by CM Nitish Kumar.
From RS 6,016 Crore, the Raj Pancayati Department has been given Rs 4,802 Crore as a health sector grant to spend for five years until the financial year of 2025-26 to build and improve health care facilities at the Panchayat level.
Likewise, urban and housing departments have been given Rs 229 Crore to be spent on the creation of diagnostic infrastructure and other primary health care facilities at the urban primary health center in the state.
Furthermore, RS 984 Crore will be spent at urban health and fitness centers over the period 2021-22 and 2025-26.
Apart from that, the Cabinet also sanctioned the government’s proposal for direct release of RS 350 Crore to meet expenses that must be carried out on the construction of infrastructure needed for class XI and XII in 677 to add high school in Panchayat.
The Cabinet approved the revised estimate for the development of the Anjuman of Islamia Halloverall, it would require RS 824 Crore expenditure.
The proposal has been moved by the Ministry of Education at the cabinet meeting.
The cabinet also gave a direct release of RS 60 Crore which will be spent in the current financial year for the construction of 520-bed 520-bed high school for other backs classes (OBC) in 10 places in nine districts, which will require RS 378 Crore.
The rest of RS 318 Crore will be released and used in the next two financial years.
While every school will require RS 37 Crore expenditure, this proposal to open such schools in all districts.
The cabinet gave a sanction for an estimate of the RS 50 Crore Revision delivered by a building construction company related to the construction of the Anjuman Islamic Hall in Muradpur in Patna under the Construction Scheme of the Bihar Waqf Council.
With regard to PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, this Cabinet gave a sanction of the State investment share of Rs 16 Crore.
Overall, Rs 40 Crore, including the central part of RS 24 Crore, will be used by the Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources in the scheme during the financial year 2021-22.
The Cabinet approved a proposal to pay legitimate incentive money for Varun drinks at his investment RS 278 Crore at the Baruni Industrial Growth Center in Begusarai which was intended for production of soft drinks, juice drinks, fruit juices and drinking water.
Likewise, payment of suitable incentive money has also been subject to sanctions for Bihar refilling and pvt bottling on an investment of Rs 16.84 Crore for Unit 1 from the ethanol plant and captive power plant in Dewadi in Garhani in Bhojpur Regency.
The cabinet also sanctioned the relaxation of the rules for the establishment of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Regional Office in Diphsa Ghat on Patna.
In addition, the cabinet also sanctioned the installation of audio-visual systems and production of content and exhibitions in the Bapu Tower that will come in Patna.
