If you break your new iPhone 13 screen then maybe there is no ‘alsoad’ to fix it at a cheaper price.
While Apple has not officially revealed the price of replacing the iPhone 13 series screen, you can expect to spend at least around Rs 20,000 to fix it if you visit the official Apple service center.
Given the high cost of repairing Apple products in India, many users tend to look for third-party improvements to save money.
But it turns out you might not be able to do that with your new iPhone 13.
YouTuber repair phone teacher in a video claims that you will not be able to change your damaged iphone 13 screen from local shops because if you do it ID will stop working.
In video, youtuber displays that it might be easier to replace the damaged iPhone 13 screen but you have to finish it from the official center by Apple.
When you install a third party replacement screen, the iPhone 13 will display a message: “Can’t verify this iPhone has an original Apple display.” So, you can replace the iPhone 13 screen at a cheaper price but you will no longer use the Face ID.
For other parts such as microphone sensors, light and proximity, you may not face problems and repairs to third parties can function properly.
This video also shows off that there may be a solution to this face ID problem and you are most likely to transfer some chips to the new third part screen.
But the problem here is that most third-party repair stores will not be able to do it accurately.
So, if you have bought an iPhone 13 or new planning to buy one of the new models in the iPhone 13 2021 series, make sure you invest money in a good screen protector and case unless you want to spend repair fees.
