Manali: One person was killed while 15 injured after the Punjab highway bus and a truck collided inside the traffic tunnel in BUT in the Himachal Pradesh bath district on Thursday night.
According to police, buses and trucks have a head collision in the tunnel.
While the truck driver died, 15 bus passengers, including several tourists, sustainable injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Kushwaha, 30, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
The police and ambulance rushed to the place to carry out a relief operation.
What was injured rushed to a civil hospital in Nagwain in 108 national ambulance services.
The accident produced a long traffic jam on the NH-3.
The bus and truck were then removed and the traffic continued.
2.7km-length aut tunnel, with lots of turns and low visibility, has witnessed many accidents in the past too.
The tunnel leaks and sometimes the water goes into it.
Overspeeding vehicles generally follow in the tunnel without restrictions, and make driving very dangerous.
