Raichur: Flying to the announcement after a fight with his alienated wife, a 30-year-old man stabbed him, his mother and 16-year-old sister and escaped from Yarmarus Village in Raichur on Tuesday night.
The couple – Sai Saurabha and Vaishnavi, aged 20 – have decided to separate and apply for divorce too.

The marriage, which was arranged by Mrs.
Vaishnavi Santoshi, lasted six months ago.
Even though Vaishnavi lost his father, his mother did not pay a fee at the wedding, police said.
The couple then moved to Hyderabad where Saurabha was loaned.
Within a few days, the couple began fighting.
A week ago, after one such battle, Vaishnavi returned to his mother’s house in Raichur to get away from her husband.
They also pondered divorce, police said.
On Tuesday night, Saurabha came to Vaishnavi’s house to talk about separation but the conversation immediately deteriorated into a game blamed for conflict between them.
Saurabha stabbed Vaishnavi with sharp objects.
When his mother Santoshi, 45, and Sister Arati intervened, he also stabbed them.
He then escaped from home.
