Rajkot: A 65-year-old Porbandar man, who has returned from Nairobi, was tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday.
He returned ten days back and was tested negatively in the first test.
In accordance with the protocol, the retest was carried out after eight days where he tested positive.
The sample has been sent for genome sequencing.
He was under house isolation since the day he returned.
In Rajkot eight new cases Covid-19 was reported on Thursday.
Of the eight, seven people from the city area were tested positively.
In the city of Jamnagar three people were tested positive on Thursday.
