Mangaluru: A row of crackers exploding resulted in managers of travel agents being stabbed to death by two people in an apartment near Car Street on Wednesday night.
The defendant is a father-child duo.
Father is a retired bank manager while his son is a software engineer who works in Dubai.
The incident was reported to last around 11pm, on Wednesday, where Vinayak Kamath, 40, a resident of Venkatesh’s apartment near Mahammaya Temple at Car Street was stabbed by Krishnanand now, and his son Avinash now.
Amani Kamath’s complainant, the victim’s wife, in her complaint, stated that she was married to victims of Vinayak Kamath, and they had a sons of three and a half years.
He works as a tailor.
A few days ago, there was a small fight between Vinayak and the defendant for repairs to work in front of the apartment complex where work under the smart city was underway.
Amani stated that the duo of the father-child was angry after Vinayak allowed someone to drive a vehicle over the concrete placed a few hours, in front of the entrance, entering the apartment complex.
On Wednesday night, Vinayak objected to children from the third floor which exploded crackers in the apartment, and complained that it caused a disturbance.
However, accusing Krishnanand and his son supported children.
This snowball became an argument that was heated between the victim and accused around 11pm.
In riot, Avinash managed Vinayak and his father Krishnanand stabbed the victim several times on the chest, arm and neck with a knife.
The victim immediately rushed to the nearest private hospital and died around 1.40 in the morning, because he failed to respond to treatment.
The case has been registered at the North Mangaluru police station.
The defendant had been arrested and produced in front of the court.
