Mangaluru: The 36-year-old worker from a village in Dakshina Kannada was arrested on Friday and subsiting was sent in the custody of the justice on charges of raping his mother.
The police said that the incident occurred when only survived and his son at home.
An alcoholic, workers were accused of crime at 3am and 7 in the morning on Thursday.
The defendant was thought to have a history of harassing his mother for money.
When the defendant entered his mother’s room with the intention of committing a crime, he tried hard to fight by shouting.
He also threatened to kill him, if he told anyone about the incident.
Survivor was rushed to the hospital.
The case has been registered under the IPC 376 (Rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
