MADRID: A 55-year-old Spanish man is bloody to death after being taken at the foot with a bull during a festival where animals are released into the streets, the local authorities say Sunday.
The Onda City Hall, in the East Spain Province at Castellon, said in a statement that it would suspend the last day of the Bull-Running Sunday after Soring on Saturday afternoon during the annual festival.
The local Levante news site said that the man was taken to the nearest hospital, but the doctor could not save him.
This is the first death known during the runner-of-the-bulls since the festival returned to many cities in Spain after a pandemic break charged by a pandemic.
Apart from the victims occasionally and foster conflicts from the animal rights group, bulls or beef racing remains a popular tradition.
Two other people were injured during a perverted run in another city, Levante reported.
The most famous international event is the Festival of the San Fermin Pamplona, which is held every year before the pandemic and boasts eight races in consecutive days through the narrow rocky streets of the North City.
The next edition is expected in July 2022, after a two-year-old hiatu.
