Jaipur: Special Court here on Thursday gave a death sentence to a 25-year-old man for rape and murder of a four-year-old girl in August last year in the Narena police station area in Jaipur (rural).
Sandeep Kumar Sharma’s Special Court Judge also imposed a fine of RS 2 Lakh at Suresh Kumar Hall.
“The prosecution produced atotal 41 witnesses in this case.
None of them turned hostile,” said Public Prosecutor Mahaveer Singh Kishnawat.
The police said parents on August 12 told that their daughter lost.
The police took out their bodies from the pool on the same day and the defendant was arrested 15 hours later even when post-mortem reports confirmed rape.
The Hall was ordered below section 366 (kidnapping), 302 (murder), 201 (causing loss of evidence), 376AB (people commit a violation of rape in a woman under the age of twelve) with the relevant parts of the children from violations Sexual (Pocso) acts.
Then SP Jaipur (rustic) Shankar Dutt Sharma has formed a special investigation team (sitting) which includes nearly 700 police officers.
Sitting led by additional SP (headquarters) Dharmendra Kumar Yadav.
“I am happy that our efforts lead to the defendant’s belief.
We have all worked all the time due to gravity of violations.
We have also associated in the public prosecutor specifically to speed up this case,” Sharma said.
According to Yadav, the case was “blind” from the beginning because there were no instructions or traces to identify the defendant behind terrible crime.
“As soon as we received information on a small girl who was missing, we rushed to place.
All resources are served to Narena in Dudu,” Yadav said.
“The police must also control the law and order situation.
We have a team of 700 police combing every corner and gap of the village to find the defendant.
We understand the defendant in 15 hours,” Yadav told toi.
Sitting held regular meetings with prosecutors to start a daily trial in this case.
“We have submitted a comprehensive Chargesheet within eight working days in this case,” said Yadav, adding that Sit camped in place to calm protesters and also to investigate this problem.
