Humans get the term life to carve brother-in-law to death

Vadodara: The session court on Wednesday sentenced a man who lived near the Champaner Darwaza to serve a prison sentence to burn his brother-in-law to death for a property dispute in February last year.
The Principal District Court also fined Insta Ghulam Hussain Sheikh of Rs 25,000 for the crime he did.
According to the details of the case, Sheikh and his younger brother were involved in a dispute about passing home ownership where Shehnazbanu Sheikh who died, her husband Umar and their families live.
The ownership of the house legal jointly held by Ghulam Hussain and Umar.
On February 3, when Shehnazbanu was on the first floor of the house, Ghulam Hussain flushed it with kerosene and burned it.
He rushed down where Umar was present after the commotion and the people who lived in the neighborhood gathered at his home.
Umar and other neighbors have flushed the fire by sprinkling water and he was taken to the SSG hospital where he gave up during treatment two days later.
However, before he died, Shehnazbanu gave a declaration of dying to the police and an executive judge where he blamed Ghulam Hussain for burning it so he did not need to transfer ownership to Umar.
Based on his statement, violations of murder efforts were registered at the City Police Station and after his death was accused of being ordered and arrested for murder.
During the trial, the victim’s neighbor, her husband and other family members and executive judges who took the dying declaration were examined and they supported the prosecution case.
Other forensic evidence was also submitted which was enforced by the court together with the testimony of witnesses to punish Ghulam Hussain.
The court also ordered to extend Ghulam Hussain’s sentence for six months if he failed to pay a fine.
