Rajkot: A 35-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly raping his brother-in-law’s sister in Kanda-Sangani Village, Rajkot District, six months ago.
According to police Dam Aji, Ms.
Survivor filed a complaint against the defendant, a resident of Sargam Rajkot Village for allegedly raping his 14-year-old daughter.
“Six months ago, my daughter went to meet her sister in Sargam Village.
When her sister and her husband left for some work, the defendant took advantage of the situation and allegedly raped twice,” the complainant said.
The defendant was brother-in-law from the women’s sister.
“The minor did not tell anyone about it until a few days ago when he had changed in the menstrual cycle.
Only when his mother asked, the girl told her about the incident.
Following this police complaint against the defendant,” police said.
