Letter: A 20-year-old man allegedly destroyed to death in the Valsad Gujarat district after he refused to marry his fiance with whom he had maintained a direct relationship.
The incident occurred during the village Panchayat in the Remote tribal village of Aaslona.
Sanjay Bhusra, (20), died on Sunday after police arrested seven people for the murder.
The police investigation revealed that the man was released for refusing to marry the girl with whom he was engaged three years ago and was in a direct relationship with him for the past year.
Lakshman’s girl troops then approached Panchayat village to intervene.
In videos circulating widely on the social media platform, a group of villagers can be seen struggling with Sanjay.
Sanjay fell into a hole and a group of young villagers continued to struggle.
Meanwhile, some villagers tried to stop charges but they continued to hit Sanjay.
Police Arrested Lakshman Gavli, Uttam Gavli, Chhagan Gavli, Raman Gavli, Sitabhai Gavli, Sunil Gavli and Mahdu Gavli for alleged killing youth.
The complaint was submitted by Sanjay Anand Anand Bhusra’s father.
