The US National Storm Center said Rick had an 85-mile high-free wind (140 KPJ) and is expected to go somewhere around the port of Lazaro Cardenas and Zihuatanejo resort.
However, wind and rain storms can also affect the greater Acapulco resort to the east.
The storm was centered around 95 miles (155 kilometers) south of Zihuatanejo in midapechnore and moved north at 5 mph (7 kph).
This center warns that Rick can produce flash floods and landslides in the mountainous field on the coast.
“During his trip on the ground, it would cause heavy rain and the possibility of mudslida and flooding, and rising levels in rivers and rivers, in Guerrero, Michoacan, Colima and Jalisco,” said the Mexican National Water Commission in A statement.
The Port of Lazaro Cardenas said that it has opened six emergency shelters for residents who might want to leave the lowlands.
Guiterrero’s neighbor’s condition said the rain and the wind had knocked a few trees and damaged the road.
