Rajkot: The husband and in-laws of a 33-year-old lady, who finished her life before this month, have been reserved for abetting her rash and also rough dowry.
On June 8, fed up with all the offender, Manisha Kareliya chased himself from the ceiling fan.
After finishing all of the post-death rituals, Manisha’s dad Kantilal Parmar approached authorities on Sunday.
Authorities, on exactly the identical afternoon, filed an offence under different sections of IPC such as abetment of harassment, suicide and Dowry Prohibition Act in Malaviyanagar police channel.
Parmar alleged that following his union Manisha’s union to Gaurav Kareliya at January 2019, both the latter along with his parents Chandravadan along with Lata and sister Neeta, those reside in Navalnagar on Mahudi Roadhad been used to frighten Manisha for dowry.
From the criticism Parmar said that Manisha frequently advised him regarding the harassment she had been facing in her husband and also in-laws.
After the sufferer’s mother-in-law Lata needed to undergo surgery for treatment of gangrene, Manisha had been requested to find cash from her dad, the complaint said.
On June 7, Gaurav phoned Manisha’s mum Vanita and requested for a month lakh, he had to set up his workplace.
Formerly too Gaurav had requested Parmar to advance money.
When Parmar stated that he did not have the cash, Gaurav had requested him to draw the same in his provident fund accounts.
Gaurav had threatened to divorce Manisha, ” the complaint said.
