New Delhi: Husband who survived the rape was shot dead at Chand Bagh Northeast Delhi on Sunday.
No arrests have been made so far.
The police said that at 12:40 a.m., a call was received at PCR regarding the shooting incident in Dayalpur.
“Our team rushed to the place and found that the 35-year-old man was taken to a hospital by his family member,” said an officer added that he was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
During the investigation, the victim’s family member said that two boys came to their house and called the victim in his name.
“When the victim came out of the house, the attackers shot him and fled,” the officer added.
Then, the police found that Almare’s wife was a victim of rape.
The case was registered at the Loni Police Station in Ghaziabad this year.
“The family has shifted to rented space for about two and a half months.
The woman also told the police that she had received a threat from the people accused of (in the case of rape),” the officer said.
