Hyderabad: During the internship at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), a 20-year-old student from the city developed a web search tool for scientists, who effectively reduced their research time from hours to almost five minutes.
Sreshta Kosaraju, a KL student who is considered university, Hyderabad was assigned a variety of data when he began intering in the center of Isro in Hyderabad (national remote sensing center, department of space) and had to scrap 9,000 online research sources and papers and web search tools that would help scientists save time.
He developed the Open-Source website for this purpose.
“During my internship, I was assigned to destroy important information from thousands of research sources and papers.
It was very time consuming and at this time when I started working on selenium and beautifuloup to develop open-source websites that only display important data and eliminate information Need, “said Sreshta, a third year computer engineering student engineering.
He said that scientists can now use research webpages for more information.
“The research assignment that previously took 4-5 hours to reach, now only takes 5 minutes,” Sreshta said, who did five months of internship with ISRO in virtual mode.
Sreshta, who was born in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, said that the university and its lecturers helped her offset the classes she missed during the internship period.
