Hyderabad: A armed reserve inspector stopped by police Jubilee Hills on Thursday for allegedly deceiving someone from 39 lakh convinced the victim that he would help him resolve the property dispute and threaten it with a gun.
Police officials arrested the accusations identified as Kishan Rao and restored two air guns, air guns, a cigarette lighter in the form of a gun, promissory notes and three cars from him, said M Sudharshan, Assistant Commissioner Police, Banjara Hills.
Police officials received complaints from Muhamad Abbas who stated that he had given 39 lakh to Kishan Rao, who claimed himself as an officer serving in the police department, to use his influence to resolve the victim’s property dispute.
Then, when Abbas asked Kiswan Rao to return his money because he did not help him solve this problem, the defendant threatened him with an air gun.
Kishan Rao also said that he would drive a case of fake rape against Abbas.
Abbas registered a complaint to the police.
During the investigation, officials found that Kishan Rao was stopped from his position in the police department several years ago.
The police case was also registered against him before in Maharashtra for misusing the service revolver.
“He can get a air gun because it doesn’t need a license to use air rifles,” ACP said.
