Hyderabad: The customer who ordered their taxi through Uber has been allowed to take care of recently following an arbitrary cancellation above the destination after arriving for pick-up.
Some commuters that depend on this taxi service complained that drivers often called after receiving their journey looking for a drop location and canceling it.
In some cases, there were complaints where the driver denied traveling after rising passengers.
“I have booked a trip from a hotel in Banjara Hills to Tarnaka after receiving a waiting period of 18 minutes.
After the trip arrived and I took a taxi, the driver refused to continue the journey after knowing the purpose, leaving me helpless,” Shyamali said, a resident of Khairtabad.
Many angry commuters have been taken to social media looking for better services than Uber.
“@Uber_india is terrible in Hyderabad.
After every booking, the driver calls and asks where someone must go.
If it’s not the location of their choice, they cancel.
Requires 5-6 bookings – cancellations before finally get a taxi,” Tweeted Hien Singh.
After several complaints, Uber India in a statement states that they take all efforts to provide a smooth experience to consumers.
“We double our efforts nationally to ensure stable services through education and drivers’ increases on our applications and procedures.
We listen and act on driver feedback about their experiences when taking Uber.
