New Delhi: The income tax department on Saturday said that it has published more than Rs 67,400 Crore worth a refund in five fiscal months at this time.
“The CBDT issued a refund of more than RS 67,401 Crore to more than 23.99 Lakh taxpayers between April 1, 2021 to August 30, 2021,” I-T department tweeted.
From this, RS 16,373 Crore income tax refund has been issued in more than 22.61 cases of lakh and corporate tax returns of RS 51,029 Crore have been issued in more than 1.37 lakh cases.
