MySuru: Former Minister of Union and Senior Congress leader Ibrahim said that he would resign as a member of the Legislative Council on February 14.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Ibrahim said that he would visit the country to measure from public opinion, before resigning from his post as MLC, in the third week of this month.
“I come into contact with political party leaders, including from BJP and JD.
I will continue politics by joining political parties,” he said.

I have been rejected because I belong to a minority community.

“During the previous assembly selection, I was warned not to compete from the Chamundeshwari segment, but he did not listen.
We made a contest from Badami, and work for his victory.
He has forgotten it,” he said, and added that a large public conference will be held well In North Karnataka or Davanagere, where political leaders and leaders from the minority community, Lingayat and Vokkaliga will participate, to bring change in state politics.
