Coimbatore: Air Force Sulur Station completes the 100th Dornier aircraft on Friday.
This is a major milestone for the Indian Air Force (IAF) in the operation and maintenance of Dornier aircraft, the backbone of transportation / communication tasks.
From a small start in 2000 to serve the Dornier IAF aircraft, the basic repair depot in the tendril had passed the order of orders higher than the plane.
This was achieved by the depot with a decrease in schedule for service, allowing the availability of a greater fleet for the IAF to fulfill its operational commitment.
The Hallmark event held at the Air Force Station, Sulur, on Friday was led by air representatives Marshal Cr Mohan, air officer engineering services from the maintenance order of headquarters in the presence of officials from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
