Visakhapatnam: India-Visakhapatnam Institute Management and Institute of Information Technology India, Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool, both the institution of national interests, signed a memorandum of understanding on Sunday.
According to the MoU, the Institute will explore the shared program, including the program of giving academic titles.
They will also collaborate to share resources, including faculty experts to participate in shared consultations and research projects.
The MoU was signed by and exchanged between the Director of IIM-V Prof.
M Chandrasekhar and Director of IIITDM-K Prof.
Dvln Somayajulu.

Speaking on that occasion, Prof.
M Chandrasekhar expressed hope that the partnership would enable them together to address the needs of the capacity building and implementation of the industry in the field of institutions.
“Efforts, to get started, will launch a program that offers a wise blend of design and manufacturing skills along with project production and management, which is intended for industry professionals and practitioners”, said Director IIM-Vizag.
Director IIIndm-K prof Somayajulu said that this initiative was in the continuation of the objectives of the new 2020 education policy that encouraged collaborative learning, multi-disciplinary.
“Partnerships will help institutions to jointly overcome the training needs and industry consultation in manufacturing hard skills and in soft and social management skills, so as to provide a one-stop solution that maximizes benefits for stakeholders.” Prof.
Somayajulu said.
The two institutions now form a shared working group to explore and advance the current opportunities with context and contemporary interest in the industry.
This joint initiative also produced results, the aim of the Andhra Pradesh High education planning board was established by the State AP Higher Education Board, to promote collaboration, cooperation and work together among state member institutions.
