Visakhapatnam: India-Visakhapatnam Management Institute observed the week of citizenship awareness in the theme ‘Independent Independent @ 75: Independence with Integrity’ from October 26 to November 1.
This initiative aims to unite all stakeholders to participate in collective prevention and fight corruption and increase public awareness The existence, causes, and gravity of threats caused by corruption.
This theme was initiated by the central alerting commission to commemorate India’s independence of 75 years and to ensure integrity in public life to deliver a relatively independent new Indian era.
As part of this initiative, the faculty and staff of IIM Visakhapatnam took a promise to fight corruption.

Chandrasekhar, said; “The most basic steps must be followed to alienate corruption is to do work correctly even when someone is not under the eyes of supervision.
We must follow the protocol set by the government carefully to become a citizen who is right in the country.”

Deepika Gupta, said; “Ensuring a corruption free environment is the responsibility of every human-minded country.
Enabling a whistle mechanism that blows will also help in creating a morality-based work environment.”
