Chennai: India Institute of Technology Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, a Hub Technology Innovation from IIT-M, will collaborate with five city startups to develop and commercialize certain space technology including those needed for rapid launch capabilities, satellite design and future generation communications such as 6G .
This consortium is called Indian Space Technologies and the Bureau Design Application (I-Stac.db) and will focus on the development of the next generation technology.
IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, funded by the Department of Science and Technology, and Five Startup – Dron Vayu Pvt Ltd, Agnikul Cosmos Pvt Ltd, Galaxeye Space Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mindgrove Technologies Pvt Ltd and Reseoo Labs LLP is a founding member of the consortium.
The consortium aims to develop end-to-end ‘Atmanirbhar’ ecosystems for the next generation space technology including fast launch capabilities, satellite design and assembly, sensors, future generation communications such as 6G, satellite security, data collection, assimilation for communication and geo sector application Spatial.
“Satellite communication is an economic change.
In addition to applications such as weather, the next generation communication like 6G will also be based on satellite communication.
