Patna: As part of the agreement, which will be signed between the Institute of India-Patna Technology (IIT-P) and the Ministry of Education, experts will establish a Hi-Tech Science Laboratory in state government schools.
They will also provide technical support, ensure the availability of equipment needed, and provide training to teachers.
According to sources, laboratories will initially be developed in 50 government schools, including seven in Patna District.

S Secondary School, and Ganesh Middle School.
Additional Chief Secretary (Education), Sanjay Kumar, told this newspaper on Wednesday that experts from IIT-P would help the government establish a science laboratory in all 9,360 high school and higher.
“The secondary education directorate has worked on the plan.
After Dussehra, we will sign an agreement with IIT-P in this case,” he added.
Previously, the Ministry of Education was used to transfer money to the principal to establish a laboratory at their respective schools, but “many of them do not know what is needed in physics or chemical labs”.
“The IIT-P experts will also train government school science teachers,” Sanjay said.
The Minister of Education, Vijay Kumar Choudhary, claimed that Rs 5 Lakh would be given to IIT-P experts for each laboratory.
