ROORKEE: A student of IIT-ROORKEE has found Covid-19 positive on Saturday.
He was a stranger who returned to the Institute last month with other students from his country.
According to reports, six foreign students from Sudan have returned to Roorkee on September 28.
The institution has placed them all under isolation, according to the Covid protocol.
“We got a report from six students on October 8 and only one of them was positive Covid-19.
He has now been put back for isolation for 7 days for further observation.
However, it is an asymptomatic case and he is fine,” said the head of the ROPKEE CIVIL HOSPITAL medical supervisor, Dr.
Sanjay Kansal.
