Bhubaneswar: This is the withdrawal of Southwest Monsun delayed in Odisha because several places in coastal districts and side by side on Sunday continued to witness moderate rainfall.
The trough line triggers rain in the entire state on Sunday even when the influence of a low pressure area on Thursday which causes a shower during Dussehra to decline.
The system on Thursday has moved to the northern Telangana and its environment, reducing the influence of its rainfall on the state, said the IMD report.
“The low pressure area above North Telangana and its environment with cyclone circulation is related to 5.8 km above sea level tilting the southwest with high continuing,” said Bulletin IMD.
It adds that the rain because the trough line will continue for two more days and down on Wednesday.
