New Delhi: Is the Indian Federation (EFI) know that Indian horsemen disguised as Nepal driver during the World Cup Pegging Tent in March? The turn of the event Thursday in Mumbai certainly pointed in that direction and deepened doubts that EFI played an important role in enabling four Indian riders to participate in the WC qualification as a Nepal driver, denying his role in the shy of all this.
As reported by TII before, four horsemen represented Nepal in qualifying – namely Yogender, Wolamul Muraslin, Kapil and Vinay Kumar.
However, while representing the Nepal team, the results sheet mentioned their names as Yogyakarta, Galam, Kepal and Vinay.
There are five teams that participated in the event: India, Pakistan, Belarus, USA, and Nepal.
India claims six gold and one bronze to complete first, followed by Pakistan in second place and Nepal stand third.
On Tuesday, one of the riders, Vinay, was named the National Junior champion at the individual ‘Lemon and Peg’ event, which was held at the club riding amateurs from the Mahalaxmi Race Course.
The incident was a junior national riding championship (JNEC).
Other horsemen, Muraslin, also participated in the meeting.
Both have represented Nepal in the qualification held from March 16-18.
Muraslin recently reached its feasibility to compete in citizens after participating in the ‘regional riding league’ in Ghaziabad.
ITPF has, last month, called for the suspension of this Indian horse rider for two years for imitation.
Conversely, EFI not only allows this driver to participate in citizens, but, in a certain way, acknowledging the fact that the horseman ‘Nepal’ came from India.
In this context, the question is: what EFI internal committee asking when to be stipulated that the driver comes from India? Toi approached the Rakesh Nair Col (Right), who was the chairman of the committee, for his response.
“I’m not aware because I’m not in Mumbai.
I’m not in a position to give you informed knowledge.” Col (right) SS Solanki, who is a jury member at the Nationals, said: “I came out somewhere and a little busy.
I am also unhealthy.” A photo of a medal ceremony is available with TII clearly shows solanki shaking hands with vinay on the podium.
