Islamabad: Pakistani-ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Casa (PTI), on Friday dissolved the structure of his organization after a shameful defeat in the first phase that had just been held from the local body poll in Khyber Province Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the northwest.
Overcoming a press conference in Islamabad after Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan led the meeting of Senior PTI leaders, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that Khan had stated serious dissatisfaction with party polls in the party.
“Because party tickets are distributed on the basis of nepotism as the principles of justice and services, PM Khan is very upset.
PTI disburses the dynasty politics,” Chaudhry said, adding that in the light of the situation, the party had decided to dissolve the structure of his organization in Pakistan.
The meeting, the Minister said, has decided to form a new constitutional committee to develop a strategy for the second phase of the poll in KP.
Khan’s party has been in power in KP for more than eight years.
In 2018 general elections, PTI has won more than two third seats to the National and Provincial Assembly.
The former PTI government in KP has played an important role in the dramatic increase in Khan against power.
The entire provincial government machine was used for agitation of the former PM Nawaz Sharif.
Khan had fully used the first opportunity given to his party to rule a province in 2013 because his campaign was against Nawaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari.
But the defeat of PTI in the selection of KP recently came in the hands of the right-wing of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F), Imran and the biggest political rival of his party.
The second stage of the poll in the province will be held next month in the Division of Hazara and Malakland, the former Pakistan-Nawaz Muslim League fortress (PML-N), which was ruled out by PTI in the 2018 election.
The defeat at KP has worried about the situation at the Sharif Punjab fortress where local body selection will be held in March.
