In a hurry for the covid vaccine as a French government tightens the screw

Paris: Hundreds of thousands of people in France rushed to establish a promise to vaccinate against Coronavirus after the President warned that what was not vaccinated would face restrictions intended to limit the rapid spread of Delta variants.
Launching the steps of sweeping to combat the surge in infection, Emmanuel Macron said on Monday night that vaccination would not be mandatory for the general public for now but stressed that restrictions would focus on those who were not vaccinated.
The President said health workers had to be vaccinated on September 15 or faced consequences.
Stanislas Niox-Chateau, who heads DOCTOLIB, one of the largest online websites in this country used to order a vaccine promise, told RMC Radio there was a recording number looking for a vaccine after the President’s announcement.
“Nearly a million designation of vaccines has been ordered, which means thousands of lives have been saved”, the Minister of Health Olivier Veran said at BFM TV.
Macron said on Monday that the health pass needed to attend a large scale event will now be used much wider, including entering the restaurant, cinema and theater.
It will also be needed to ride the train and a remote aircraft from the beginning of August, providing further incentives for people to get the chance when the summer holiday season kicks.
The slowdown in vaccination and a sharp increase in new infections for a very contagious Delta variant, now dominant, has forced the government to rethink its strategy.
“September 15 It’s too late, the virus multiplies every five days.
We talk about low characters who quickly become high.
What we want is to avoid protection of epidemics and (get) protection for everyone.
We don’t take this decision on light.” After falling from more than 42,000 per day in mid-April to less than 2,000 per day at the end of June, the average number of new infections per day in France has crawled back, standing now at almost 4,000 per day.
Minister of Finance Bruno Le Maire warned on the radio of France and that the only obstacle for France who achieved a 6% economic growth in 2021 would become an uptick in Covid-19 because of the Delta variant.
