Dharwad: Dharwad has been silent in the middle of the hijab line that has spread to other parts of Karnataka, thanks to the organization of students to their communities to stay away from their controversy and concentrate on their studies.
Leaders Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has visited colleges and hostels who brutter students about the need to focus on their studies, rather than protests.
Prateek Mali, ABVP State Secretary, said that students had suffered in the past two years because of a pandemic.
They were unable to miss the class again for any reason.
He said that in the country of saints such as Shishunal Sharief and Kanaka Dasa who tried hard to communal harmony, it was unfortunate that the student community was divided into reckless problems.
He said students must avoid the idea of wearing a hijab or turmeric scarf and complying with the clothing code prescribed by each institution.
The problem has been heard in the High Court and court decisions will bind.
Until then, students must follow the dress code prescribed by the government in his circulation, he said.
Dharwad has a student population of more than 2 lakh.
“We visited college and school and told students to concentrate on their studies.
The response to our appeal has been encouraging as students, teachers and parents have appreciated our initiative,” Gangadhar Haragagi, said Secretary ABVP.
ABVP activists visit schools and colleges and raise the slogan “all is one, education is our right”.
They also met various groups of students and appealing to them not to allow politicians to ride slices among students to get political mileage.
The All-India Democrat Student Organization (AIDSO) also begged the government and students to maintain the free education sector of religion.
