Dubai: The United Arab Emirates said on Tuesday official officials would move to Monday to Friday, a major change that brought the Islamic nation which was home to large financial institutions in line with the western schedule.
Decision, which will take effect next month, making the Arab Bay State, home to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, one of the few places in the Middle East to operate at Western hours, not on Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday Until Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Sunday to Thursday.
Government employees will work half a day on Friday, traditional Muslim holy days, and then take Saturday and Sunday holidays, said the announcement.
The government’s shift is likely to see the private industry and the school followed a suit, as they did in 2006, when the Sunday changed from Saturday to Wednesday – an Islamic work fighters were followed in several Muslim countries, such as Iran and Afghanistan.
The Emirati Government praised the decision as making it “the first nation in the world to introduce a shorter national work week of the week of five global days” – Reference to Friday becomes only a working day of half a day.
