In the MSU, Blended Mode for classes starting today

Vadodara: With a surge in Covid-19 cases, University M will move to the blended mode of education from Monday and so on.
In some faculties where the exam is scheduled to begin, the exam will be held online.
The state government has also issued a notification where classes offline for grade 10 and so on schools to graduate programs in universities, along with training institutions and tuition fees are allowed to run at a capacity of 50% with all standard operating procedures around Covid-19.
“In smaller faculties, where the exam is scheduled to start from Monday and so on, the exam will be held online.
Therefore, we do not expect students to come on campus,” said the MSU flight registrar Dr.
K M Chudasama.
“In the main faculty such as art, science and trade, all classes will be held in mixed mode – mixed offline and online classes,” he said, adding that according to direction, all faculties were asked to operate with only 50% capacity.
It should be mentioned here that such a city, the university campus has also witnessed a surge in the number of staff and students testing positive.
The campus has registered nine cases of Covid-19 this weekend.
While a student and a teacher of the Faculty of Social Work has been tested positively, a teacher at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, two guards and a messy contractor tested positive in the Hall of the residence.
Similarly, two staff working with university headquarters have also been tested positively.
“In the faculty, where we got a positive case, the parts concerned underwent an examination on Saturday.
Similarly, at the university’s head office too, the examination was carried out.
There are no new cases that have been reported so far,” he said.
