Chennai: The Apple Supplier Foxconn Factory near Chennai in India will remain closed for three more days, said senior government officials, expanding the closing length of the week after protests of food poisoning triggered by the incidence of food poisoning.
This factory is expected to start production with 1,000 workers on December 30, according to people who are close to non-authorized problems talking to the media and rejected to be identified.
Separate government sources have said last week that plants are closed on December 18 and are expected to remain closed until December 26.
The factory gate, which is on the outskirts of the southern city of Chennai, is open on Monday.
Morning and several vehicles moved in and out but the area was mostly quiet.
This factory creates an iPhone 12 model, and media reports say Apple has started the production of the iPhone 13 test in the recent factory.
