Prasagraj: Now wherever possible, 94 schools run by Indian trains throughout the country, because the official ward and other staff members will be taken down Kendriya Vidyalaya Tekalhan (KVS).
Wherever the choice to go with an inappropriate KV, these schools will be submitted to the state government or developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
It followed the recommendations of the main economic adviser from the Ministry of Finance Union, Sanjeev Sanyal and his approval by the Cabinet.
The Cabinet Secretariat has sent recommendations to the train board for implementation and which in turn has sent it to all zonal trains including the North Railways Head Office (NCR) headquartered in Prayagraj.
The Indian train is currently running 94 schools that provide education to children of train employees and to children of non-train employees.
In fact, in 2019, only 15,399 railroad wards registered in schools were less than half of the total number of registered non-train wards (34277).
In addition, the Indian train also supports 87 Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) where 33,212 railroad wards and 5,386 non-train wards are registered.
It should be noted that the total number of train wards in the bracket age 4 to 18 years is 7.99,703 I.e., less than 2 percent of the railway route attending the train school.
Historically, schools need to be established because there is a market failure in the area where new train lines and workshops are being built.
The geographical concentration of the train school is not necessarily concentrated in the most shortcomings.
In addition, other schools including those who are now in places where there is a train colony.
Recommendation Sanyal said that operating a train school requires a lot of time the train management where core competencies are running and maintaining train services.
“So, we recommend minimizing train management time at the school that is running except where they are needed.
The Committee recommends that anywhere possible, the train school is brought to the KVS with a quota for kids train employees who are the most choice Liked, “suggest a report.
Closing Down of Railway Schools is also recommended by the DeRroy BIEK committee on Railways Restructuring (in 2015) which has been viewed so far because of the needs of train employees, there are efficient ways to subsidize their children’s education alternatively including KVS and private schools.
Sanyal’s recommendation also said that where KVS could not run the train school, they could be submitted to the state government each with preference to the children of train employees.
In addition, if necessary, the public-private partnership model (PPP) can also be explored.
Recommendations come with motorists that there may be certain remote areas where Indian trains need to run school, and there can continue to do it.
Commenting on Development, Head of Public Relations Officer (CPRO), NCR, Drivam Sharma said, “We have received a letter from the board and will take steps that match and when needed according to board instructions.”
