Guwahati: The number of Covid-19 infections has seen a large surge in the last 24 hours as a positive case in the state has more than doubled since Sunday.
A total of 351 positive cases were detected on Monday, almost 200 more than 156 positive cases reported the previous day.
Amid scare Omicron, testing increased to 36,613 on Monday and the level of participants had gathered up to 0.96 percent from weeks 0.79 percent.
