New Delhi: Equity investors became richer by Rs 6.09.840.74 Crore in four days from the market meeting, where benchmarks reached the highest new closure on Tuesday.
Risen for the fourth consecutive session on Tuesday, the BSE 30-stock benchmark index jumped 148.53 points or 0.25 percent to the top of the closing of 60.284.31.
In four days, benchmarks rose 1,094.58 points.
During this time, the market capitalization of BSE companies jumped Rs 6.09.840.74 Crore to achieve a record high of Rs 2,68,30,387.79 Crore on Tuesday.
“The equity market is opened on a quiet note and witnessed in-line volatility with weak global cues.
However, basically the index witnessed some interest buying and ended the session at Green Near High’s High but the price of crude oil and a weak rupee was closed,” Siddhartha Khemka said, Head – Retail Retail, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.
Titan is the largest enhancer, more than 5 percent, followed by Bajaj Auto, SBI, Bajaj Finserv, Nestle India, and ITC.

In a wider market, the MIDCAP and SmallCap index rose to 0.65 percent.
