Kabul: Iran on Sunday said that Tehran will not recognize the current Taliban government (Islamic Emirates) unless it is included.
Iranian Ambassador Bahadur Aminian made a statement in a special interview with Tolo News in Kabul.
Aminian said that Tehran could persuade other countries to recognize the Afghan government if the Islamic Emirates brought reforms to their governance structures.
“If a group comes (powerful) and the group is (consisting) of one ethnic group and all other ethnic groups are not included in the government, we did not accept it, and, therefore, we called the Taliban well to us.

Furthermore, he said that the current economic crisis will pave the way for extremism, especially for the Islamic State – Khorasan (IS-K), report Tolo news.
“If economic problems remain, it will cause more migration.
If economic problems remain exist, they will cause extremism, which will not only threaten Afghanistan but also the region,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Taliban said that Aminian’s statement was an attempt to disturb Afghanistan.
“Is the government or the Iranian cabinet based on the definition of others about inclusive?” Said Inamullah Samangani, Deputy Spokesperson for the Islamic Emirates.
“Every country has their own definition of inclusive government based on their national interests,” he added.
“This government must be inclusive based on the wishes of the Afghanistan, which is not based on foreign country interference,” said Sayed Javad Husseini, leader Hezb-e-Adalat Wa Tawsa, reported Tolo news.
The Taliban, who was desperate to seek international recognition, and had time and again reminded that honoring women and human rights, establishing an inclusive government, did not allow Afghanistan to be a safe place of terrorism which was a prerequisite set by the international community.
