IRCTC to run pilgrims to South India on December 15

Nagpur: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will run a special Hajj on December 15 to religious places in South India.
Speaking to reporters, the IRCTC Area Manager of SJ Soreng, Bilalaspur, said the special train that has a capacity of 800 people will leave the Brajrajnagar train station in Chhattisgarh and will take aphract from Raigad, Champa, Balaspur, Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Gondia, Bhandara, Nagpur , Wardha and Ballarshah.
The eight-day tour includes a visit to Tempupati Temple City, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram and Kurnool Town.
The package per person for the Sleeper class has been repaired at RS8,510 and RS14,180 for AC-III.
This package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, stay and travel on non-AC buses where needed.
13-train trainers will have 5 beds and AC-III of each coach and pantry cars.
This will be an exclusive train for pilgrims.
Soreng said, “The train will have a doctor and manager but it is mandatory for tourists to take two doses of vaccines for Covid-19.
Those above 70 years have to submit a medical fitness certificate.
” On occupancy, Soreng said, “This special train gets a good response because the package is cheaper.
On October 19, a similar train was run into religious and tourist places in North India.
All 800 docked places have been booked.
” “Previously, there was one air conditioner coach on the train like that but now we have five coaches evoking a good response,” he said.
