Vadodara: Usually, a photo with a minister is something that is widely proud of, especially on social media.
But a major teacher in Dahod District has landed in a problem after his picture with the minister who has just been appointed by Kuber Dindor and Nimisha Suthar became a viral on social media.
The photos were posted along with a message highlighting ‘irregular presence since a decade’.
Teachers at the village elementary school in Fatebura Taluka from Dahod District have been under the scanner for some time now.
Complaints about irregular presence have been made for senior officials too.
Basic Education Officers District (DPEO) Mayur Parekh said that they had received complaints about Master in July and were being investigated.
“Our officials have visited school and are collecting details,” he said.
The source said that many accused that teachers also run other businesses during school hours.
They added that he was an active BJP worker who explained his photo with a dindor from Mahisagar and Suthar Regency from Panchmahal.
The teacher’s wife is a BJP active member and also holds the position of Panchayat members too.
The source said that it was after filing a complaint at the local level that the old man approached the DPEO office.
Parekh said that the principal had been warned that he should not make any concessions to the wrong teacher.
Parekh will visit the school next week to investigate this problem.
