Jerusalenm: Israel will continue with the second Covid-19 vaccine amplifier for people with a weakened immune system, said the top government health official on Thursday, but the final decision on wider use is still delayed.
The Israeli hospital gave fourth shots to the health worker test group on Monday, in what was called the first main study to whether the second round of the Booster would help compete with the Omicron variant.
The results are expected within two weeks.
Worried about the rapid spread of Omicron, the Panel of the Ministry of Health last week recommended that Israel offer the fourth Jambuan from the Pfizer / Biontech vaccine to medical workers and those with more than 60 or with a compromised immune system.
