Jerusalem: Israel will give the fourth dose of the Coronavirus vaccine to people over 60 years and medical personnel, become the first country in the world to do it widely like barrels of omicron variants throughout the world.
“Israelis are the first to get the third vaccine and we continue to lead with the fourth vaccine,” Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement on Tuesday night.
He ordered the authorities to prepare for the national inoculation drive.
Israel’s handling of Coronavirus has been studied by other countries, because the aggressive steps needed to load the virus at first, which failed to reopen after the first lock, and the initial administration of vaccines and booster.
It launched the world’s leading vaccine drive a little less than a year ago when inoculation was first available, and in August, it became the first country to offer a booster for many of its population after the Delta variant sent infection.
When Kaseload Israel shrank dramatically in a few weeks and researchers launched data on the efficacy of vaccines, other countries followed a suit with an aggressive amplifier campaign.
While Omicron has become the dominant tension in countries including the US, South Africa and the United Kingdom, Israel is less hit, partly because of being clamped quickly with travel limitations.
The 9.3 million people have 341 confirmed cases, including 95 people who were not vaccinated, and 807 cases suspected, according to the Ministry of Health statement Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after the variant was detected in South Africa last month, Israel canceled plans to reopen the incoming tourism, and prohibit its citizens to travel to most Africa.
When a very contagious tension occurred on global rages, officials widened that the ban was to include most of Europe, the US and Canada.
All residents entered the state tested for Covid on arrival, with a period of quarantine for at least three days.
In September, Israel had made preparations to ensure it had sufficient vaccine supply if needed a fourth round.
The fourth Jab will be given to people who receive the third shooting at least four months earlier, according to a decision by health officials.
The authorities also decided to shorten the time period between the second and third to three months of five.
