Cairo: Israeli air strike killed a soldier in Southern Syria on Thursday, Syrian media reported, in an attack on the border area where Israel had expressed concern about the spread of Iran’s supported troops.
An Israeli military spokesman refused to comment on the report.
Israel often carry out attacks that often oppose what is described as Iran’s target in Syria, where Tehran’s supported troops including Hizbullah Lebanon have mobilized over the past decade to support President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian war.
Citing military sources, the Syrian state news agency said “Israeli enemies conducted air aggressions”, fired missiles from Heights Golan, Israeli region was arrested from Syria in 1967.
