SRINAGAR: The J & K government has stopped the services of two employees – a police deputy supervisor and principal – for their terror relationship.
Official sources said Feroz Ahmad Lone, DSP (prison) service, and Javid Ahmad Shah, the head of the government of government in Bijbehara was stopped on Monday.
Lone, which was appointed as DSP (prison) in 2012, was charged with facilitating a meeting between two young men and a jailed terrorist commander, who was arrested by Nia.
He was accused of misusing his official position by facilitating the publication of Passes to the two young men, who came to meet terrorists in Srinagar prison.
“In this meeting that the criminal conspiracy hatched to send a duo to Pakistan for weapons training,” an official claimed, added that both of them, however, were arrested before crossing into neighboring countries.
According to sources, Javid is a sympathizer of Hurriyat and Jadam-e-Islami.
He was charged with playing the role of Advisor to Hurriyat and Friday cadres operating in Bijbehara in 2016.
