Jaipur: A 61-year-old man committed suicide after jumping before the train in Gokulpura after he was allegedly harassed by a loan up, Kardhani police said on Saturday.
The deceased was idenitfied as Sharma Mahaveer, a resident of Kamla Nagar near Jalan Sirsi.
According to police, Putra Sharma Karan (27) filed a wall on Friday afternoon, allapsing that one Pratap Singh Choudhary constantly threatened his father.
Sho Banwari Lal Meena said that Sharma died on Wednesday after he jumped before the train.
The suicide note recovered from him where Sharma blamed Choudhary.
The police said that Sharma had returned a number for Choudhary but the latter continued to insist more.
In accordance with Fir, Choudhary came to Sharma’s house on Wednesday at 3 pm when Sharma was in the office, while his son Karan was present at home.
Choudhary allegedly threatened the family that if Sharma did not pay money, he would make them homeless.
The family member told the police that Choudhary had regularly threatened Sharma, and he ended his life on the same day at 10pm when he could not stand anymore.
Kardhani police said that FIR was archived under section 384 (extortion) and 306 (suicide reduction) of the IPC.
The police said that based on fir and suicide records recovered from the defendant they began an investigation.
“Family members have shared a telephone number accused.
They said that Mahaveer Trauma by intimidating the constant by Pratap Singh Choudhary,” said an official, added that on Wednesday, when Karan told Mahaveers that Choudhary came to their homes and demanded money.
