CALANGUTE: Two people from Jaipur were arrested by the Calangute police on Sunday for allegedly deceiving RS 1.2 Lakh shopping portal.
Both of them were identified as Lakshay Gupta, 20, and Harsh Gupta, 22, living in Calangute, had ordered a camera for RS 1.2 lakh online, but then returned it claiming to “accept different products”.
They asked for a replacement sent by the portal.
However, the portal found that the returned products were fake followers which were complaints of registered fraud and the two defendants were tracked by the help of the Calangute police and arrested.
Further investigations are active, according to the Calangute police.
