Jaipur: Robbers killed a 55-year-old woman and cut her leg before escaping with her jewelry at Jamwa Ramgarh on Tuesday.
The terrible murder triggered a panic wave and feared with several local residents asking the police to arrest the defendant as soon as possible.
Jaipur (rustic) SP Shankar Dutt Sharma said the victim was identified as Geeta Devi, a resident of Khetpura Village in Jamwa Ramgarh.
He has taken cattle to graze around 10 am.
Shortly after 1pm, a village population passed a speckled farm lying throughout the area.
He found Geta Devi in a pool of blood and lifted an alarm.
Some villagers gathered at the place by police Timejamwa Ramgarh arrived.
Sharma said the defendant also attacked the throat of the victim and robbed his silver ornaments.
The police suspected that the defendant had cut his legs with sharp objects, maybe ax, stole his bracelet.
“The jewelry he wore was found missing.
Therefore, Prima Facie seems to be a murder case to get,” said an official.
The position of senior officials included SP, two officials ranking ASP and DSPS examined crime scenes.
Sharma said the special team was based on investigating this problem.
Rural police sent a different team in the nearest villages to follow up the instructions.
“The place of crime is a remote place with several people passing through the road.
There is a suspicion that the defendant is waiting for several targets to loot.
The incident seems to have happened before 3:00 p.m.,” said an official.
The police called the FSL team to collect samples from the place.
“It was a brutal murder.
But only post-mortem reports that will reveal the nature of the injury,” officially added.
